Description

Price: 850€ (paid in full at the beginning of the course).
950€ (paid in phases at the beginning ofeach stage of the course; see stages).

The paragliding course consists of 3 stages:

Stage  1 - Adaptation

Typology
It includes an introduction to paragliding with Tandem flight. There follows the practice of ground skills, Low Flight (Adaptation) and Glided Flying near the ground never exceeding 10 meters.

Objectives
Know the nomenclature of the Paraglider wing. Acquire basic knowledge of aerodynamics and aerology. Acquire knowledge about safety in Paragliding. Learn the technique of the frontal inflation (with a back wind greater or equal to (15 km). Learn to take off on school slope. Learn to land

Information
In the first stage of the course it is intended that the student adapts to the control of the wing in the ground. This control is necessary to take off and land, but it is also in everything identical to in flight mode..
After acquiring the necessary skills in the ground the student makes 10 10 low-altitude flights in order to adapt to the flight and train his first take-offs and landings.

Nº of Flights Expected
20

Material
All material is provided by the school and the student is responsible for the use of appropriate clothing and footwear.

Price
450€ / person *  (if paid in phases)

Stage 2 - Initiation

Typology
Gliding flight (Initiation).
Gliding flight with enough altitude and distance to maneuver the aircraft easily. The practice ground handling skills.

Objectives
Improve ground handling. Straight gliding flights from higher slopes. Learn theoretical knowledge of basic meteorology, safety, aeronautical legislation, and flight rules. Learn how to plan a flight plan. Get progressive flight autonomy.

Information
In the second stage the student performs the first flights with high enough to perform approach maneuvers in the landing field.
In this phase the work on the ground is still intense, but also the theoretical formation and the flight in height are intensified.

Nº of Flights Expected
15

Material
All material is provided by the school and the student is responsible for the use of appropriate clothing and footwear.

Price
350€ / person * (if paid in phases)

Stage 3 - Improvement

Typology
Soaring Flight (Improvement 1).
Soaring flight, flight with the support of ascending air originated in a slope, cliff or dune, by the action of laminar wind or thermal restitution, with comfortable distance to the terrain, obstacles and traffic (aerial).

Note:
At the end of this stage and after a final theoretical and practical exam with good result (carried out by FPVL), the student becomes an autonomous pilot - Pilot License Level1 (former level 3).

Objectives
Get necessary skills to fly without the instructor accompaniment. Master soar flight with long duration time. Learn basic techniques of rapid descent. Learn theoretical skills in the areas of Meteorology, Aerodynamics, First Aid, Materials, Legislation and Flight Rules.

Information
Finally in the third stage the student makes flights without restrictions in terms of height. The student learns to make soaring flights on which he must be able to stay on the air for a minimum period of time. These 4 flights should be carried out without the need for indications from the instructor.
At this level will also be taught the rest subjects at the theoretical level in areas such as: Meteorology, Atmospheric sounding, Aerodynamics, First Aid, etc.
AThe last phase culminates in a written examination of the FPVL's responsibility to which the student must obtain approval. With the third phase concluded the student receives a flight license also issued by FPVL.

Nº of Flights Expected
10
