Level 2 - High Performance

Typology
XC Flight (High Performance).
The pilot uses thermal air currents to travel to a point far from takeoff (sometimes returning).

Objective
Collection of meteorological information and analysis, study and analysis of flight planning. Use of maps (navigation on hostile terrain). Study and in-depth general knowledge of air law (navigation charts). Training and handling of specific technical equipment. Safety and Competition.

Practical program Step 5 (summary)

Revision: dominated maneuvers in the previous step (4)
Flight planning and decision
Permanence in various types of ascendance
Take-offs in various situations (average difficulty)
Landings in various situations (medium difficulty)
Theoretical program Stage 5 (summary)

Navigation
Using maps
